Nasrallah: The July victory is historic, and the resistance is stronger than ever

Beirut, (ST) – The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah affirmed that the July victory is a historic and that the resistance today is stronger than it was. He added that the Israeli enemy is much weaker, expressing his thanks for Syria’s support and stand by the resistance in making this victory.

In a speech on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the July victory, Sayyed Nasrallah said: Whoever monitors the Israeli situation from the July war till today sees clearly the downward path of this usurping entity. He pointed out that the resistance made the Israeli home front part of the war after it was previously spared from that.

Nasrallah said that the enemy has been conducting maneuvers since 2006 for the home front to verify its readiness, at a time when all reports say it is not.

In response to the Israeli threats to return Lebanon to the Stone Age, Sayyed Nasrallah added: I tell the enemy, with evidence, that the resistance will send back the occupation to the Stone Age if you go to war with Lebanon, and there will be no such thing as Israel. He added that enemy leaders should know that here; in this arena they are playing a game of existence, not merely scoring points .

Sayyed Nasrallah continued: We thank the support of Syria and Iran and the sympathy of all the masses in the Arab and Islamic world and all the countries that stood by the resistance in making this victory an epic and a legend over a period of 33 days.

Regarding the Lebanese internal affairs, SayyedNasrallah said: Lebanon has no choice but to partner and walk with the parties, albeit slowly, especially since there are political forces that do not want any dialogue between the Lebanese. He added that the dialogue  with the Free Patriotic Movement is   positive.
