Nasrallah: The global war on Syria did not bear fruit

Beirut (ST): The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the global war on Syria has ended and did not bear fruit.

In an interview with the Iranian Al-Alam TV channel, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “The great global war against Syria has ended and did not bear fruit, but things still need some caution in light of the presence of terrorist organizations in the north and attempts by the West to revive the terrorist organization ISIS in Syria and Iraq.”

Nasrallah indicated that what has been happening for several months, the last of which was what happened in the industrial prison in Hasakeh, is not innocent and indicates the existence of a project to revive ISIS in the region again, especially since hundreds of ISIS members, some of whom are senior leaders, have not been arrested, in addition to the information that was obtained by Russian intelligence, which states that the Americans will reconnect with extremist terrorist groups in Damascus and Latakia, and “this is not strange about the Americans who steal oil and gas from the east of the Euphrates.”
