Hizbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has affirmed that the victory achieved in eastern Lebanon by liberating Al-Qaa barrens from terrorists was the result of the sacrifices offered over years by the Syrian Arab Army and its allies.
Nasrallah was speaking on the fourth anniversary of the Second Liberation, when territories in eastern Lebanon were liberated by Hezbollah in cooperation with the Syrian army from ISIS and other Takfiri terrorist groups.
“What happened in Al-Qaa barrens was part of the global war on Syria and part of a dangerous scheme against the region,” said Nasrallah, pointing out that ISIS, which was created by the United States, has been provided regional and international support and many terrorists of this terror organizations were brought in to the region to destroy it but the Syrian Army and its allies have failed this scheme.”
“As we always say to the Israelis, we say to the Takfiris: If you are back we will be back,” he said, indicating that the project that was prepared for the region is collapsing.
Hizbollah Secretary General went on to say that the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States on the Syrian people through the so-called “Caesar Act” didn’t only target Syria, they also target Lebanon, as these unfair measures have closed the doors before the Lebanese who want to carry out investments in Syria and they undermined the chances to revive the Lebanese economy.
On Afghanistan, Nasrallah said that “the US scheme in the region is being defeated. The latest developments in Afghanistan prove that all pretexts used by Washington are deceiving and they aim at occupation and expanding influence.”
He stressed that the Afghanistan experience and the way the United States dealt with its allies there should be a lesson for all who bet on the Americans in the region.
He pointed out that “the US administration had transferred ISIS terrorists to Afghanistan in a bid to destabilize Asian neighbors and Russia.”
Regarding Lebanon, he called for forming the Lebanese government as soon as possible so as to find solutions to the crises the Lebanese are suffering from.
