Nasrallah: Resorting to “Caesar Act” is an evidence of Syria’s victory in the military war against terrorism

Beirut, (ST) – Secretary General of Hezbollah Party Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah affirmed that America’s resort, to the “Caesar Act”, which is its last weapon is evidence of Syria’s victory in the military war against terrorism that it has  faced for about ten years, pointing out that the target of this law is the Syrian people.

Nasrallah said in a speech that Syria’s allies who are with it politically and militarily will not abandon it in the face of the economic war. He pointed out that whoever offered the martyrs so that  Syria  will remain united and not subject to America and “Israel” will not allow “Caesar Act” to defeat it.

On the Lebanese issue, Nasrallah said that “the Caesar Act aims to starve Lebanon just as it aims to starve Syria,” Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised speech.

After nine years of war, Syria is mired in an economic crisis compounded by a coronavirus lockdown and a dollar liquidity crisis in Lebanon, a major conduit for regime-held regions.

He described the Act which comes into force Wednesday as Washington’s “last weapon” against Damascus.

The Syrian government and loyal businessmen are already targeted by US and European economic sanctions, Nasrallah added.

On the Palestinian issue, the Secretary General of Hezbollah indicated that the Palestinian people face a dangerous stage of collusion with their rights, land and entity, especially with regard to the decision of the Prime Minister of Benjamin Netanyahu to annex Palestinian lands from the West Bank to the usurping entity.
