Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that intimidation, psychological warfare and threats to move fleets will not undermine the will of resistance or change its the position of shouldering responsibility for its cause.
In a speech delivered on Ashura commemoration, Sayyid Nasrallah stated that the enemies of the resistance had failed militarily, politically and on the security front to suppress resistance, stressing that they would also fail with the media campaign they are carrying out today, which the resistance has not seen the like of for 40 years.
“The war of rumors and misconceptions that we witness today is one of the most dangerous battles facing the resistance because its goal is weakening the vulnerable even more,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, stressing the need to confront it.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stated that among the means of confronting this media war is preserving credibility, moral, religious and political commitment, adhering to the resistance, boycotting platforms and misleading sites, scrutinizing any broadcasted news, and developing methods of media capabilities and the popular presence on social web sites in a purposeful and thoughtful way.
Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that what happened in the past in terms of rumors and lies against resistance is happening today, but in an unmatchable way in terms of the media misleading campaign, where money is paid in exchange for broadcasting rumors, lies and provocations.
“We were told previously that the Israeli occupation army is (the unconquerable army) as a way to glorify enemy, and that “we are few and we can’t resist them,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, noting that the Israelis were surprised in July war, when the resistance fighters did not flee in the city of Bint Jbeil despite the siege, on the contrary they used to enter the city through a crossing that was opened by the occupation itself to escape.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that political intimidation and talk on fleets and armies will not shake the resistance, pointing out that theresistance was seduced with money, power and developing the political system in exchange for renouncing its resisting cause, but it did not do this and will not.
