Nasrallah: Iranian fuel has arrived at Baniyas port and will arrive in Lebanon next Thursday

Beirut, (ST) – Hezbollah Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah has announced the arrival of the first ship loaded with Iranian fuel to Baniyas port, saying that it will be transported by tankers next Thursday to Lebanon.

Nasrallah said in a speech broadcast by Al-Manar TV that “the first ship arrived at Baniyas port and began unloading the cargo. The transfer of fuel to the Bekaa will begin next Thursday, to be distributed after that.

He thanked the Syrian state for its support, facilitation and understanding and contribution to the success of this process.

Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that, there were those who considered the promise to bring fuel to Lebanon was just for the use of media no more, but the promise was fulfilled.

Nasrallah welcomed the recent visit of the official Lebanese delegation to Syria, which dealt with “openness and love despite the accuracy of the issue.”

He added that, “I tell the Americans, as all your bets and policies have failed, and all your plots have been foiled.

With regard to the Freedom Tunnel operation in occupied Palestine, Nasrallah stressed that this operation carried out by Palestinian heroes and resistance fighters. It has great and very important implications that represent Palestinian insistence on freedom and liberation despite all the difficult circumstances.

He pointed to the importance of forming the Lebanese government at this difficult stage in Lebanon’s history, saying that the Lebanese people are looking forward to the government’s rescue and reform, because the country is in the midst of collapse.

He stressed his support for preparing for and holding parliamentary and municipal elections on time.
