Moscow, (ST) – The Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Ministry of Health of Russia announced on Monday that the nasal (Sputnik V) vaccine against the Corona virus consists of two doses, but one can suffice if the dose is a booster.
The Director of the center, Alexander Ginzburg, told Sputnik that, the nasal vaccine against the Corona virus consists of two doses in the first place, and that the initial vaccination will be in two doses, and one dose can be sufficient if the dose is a booster and greater.
The Deputy Dead of the Center, Denis Logonov, had announced earlier that the nasal (Sputnik V) vaccine against the Corona virus is painless with minimal side effects and will create an additional barrier of immunity in the upper respiratory tract.
