“My father, my mother, me & You” movie to be screened in April

A movie depicting love story during the crisis in Syria and the war’s effect on family relations is due to be screened in April, according to the al-Thawra newspaper.

The paper reported Monday that the Director Abdulltif Abdulhamid had finished shooting his new movie entitled ‘ My father, my mother, me & You’, which is produced by the national General Establishment for Cinema.  

The movie’s scenario is taken from the director’s book which has the same title.

Syrian renowned actors and actresses-  Yamen Al Hajali, Maram Ali, Suzan Najm Aldeen, Samer, Omran, Bashar Ismail, Husam Tahsin Bek, Mustafa Almustafa, Joud Said, Ameer Barazie, Raja Yousef, Amira Hattab, Nihad Alazi, Yamen Suleiman, Ahmad Ibrahim and Rasha Rustom-perform in the movie.

 

Last December, The 2nd Short films and youth cinema festival concluded its activities in the Damascus Opera House in the presence of Syrian actors and actresses plus Egyptian delegation head by the Director Omar Abdul Aziz.

Six films out of 26 ones, dealt with the current crisis in Syria, won awards after the judgment that was described  by the Director Abdullatif Abdulhamid as ‘just and logical’.
