Musakhan rolls

Ingredients:

1.            5 Medium onions chopped

2.            8 Chicken Breasts cooked

3.            2 Tablespoons sumac

4.            1 Teaspoon of salt

5.            1 Teaspoon of pepper

6.            1 Teaspoon of allspice

7.            1 Teaspoon of cumin

8.            ½ Cup of toasted pine nuts

9.            1 Cup of olive oil

10.          2 Tablespoons of olive oil (extra)

11.          4 Saj bread each cut into 8 pieces

12.          More olive oil for brushing the rolls

 

Preparation:

• Shred your chicken into medium sized pieces. Set aside.

• In the 1 cup of olive oil, cook the chopped onion until tender, then add chicken, sumac, cumin, salt, pepper, allspice and pine nuts.

• After all ingredients are mixed well, add the extra 2 spoons of olive oil, mix well and immediately remove from heat.

• Fill each piece of saj bread from the wide side with one tablespoon of mixture, fold the sides and roll towards the thin part and set aside.

• Brush each roll with a little olive to help crisp, and bake in oven for 4-5 minutes at 180 degrees.
