Murad: (Deal of the Century) aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause and undermine the security of Lebanon

Beirut,ST- The so-called ” deal of the century” aims to undermine Lebanon’s security and liquidate the Palestinian cause, Lebanese Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs in the caretaker government Hassan Murad said.

Murad said in a statement today that “the deal of the century” is an old plan that emerges from time to time according to regional circumstances to undermine Lebanon and liquidate the Palestinian cause, but it will fail.”

Murad stressed that the Lebanese national resistance is continuing and that “the deal of the century’ will not pass.

On the internal situation in Lebanon, Murad said that “the successive fiscal and economic policies for decades have systematically destroyed the production capacity, the ability to develop the homeland and the ability of people to live in dignity.”

The Lebanese capital Beirut and a number of Lebanese areas in the north, the Bekaa and the south since 17 last October had witnessed demonstrations against the deterioration of living conditions, including cut off roads and the closure of schools, banks and a number of institutions.
