Mufti Hassoun: The dangers of the Zionist entity threaten the entire of humanity
Hassoun said in a speech during the International Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Conference held in Qom city, south of the capital, Tehran, that, the Zionists had usurped the land of Palestine and expelled its Muslims and Christians from their homes and committed heinous crimes. He indicated that the Zionists have lied in front of all humanity with the aim of plundering and expelling the original owners of the land, referring to the position of Imam Khomeini who affirmed that Al-Quds Al-Sharif and Palestine are the cause of all Muslims.
The Assistant Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly for International Affairs Hussein Amir Abdollahian stressed his country’s firm position in support of the Palestinian people.
In his speech during the online conference, Abdollahian said that, International Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day is at the initiative of the late Imam Khomeini in order to revive the historical cause of Palestine. He pointed out that,launching this World Day is in the interest of strengthening the unity of the Islamic nation in the world to support the cause of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the Palestinian people.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Quds( Jerusalem) International Conference began its work in the holy city of Qom today with the participation of 30 scientific and cultural figures from a number of countries, including Syria, Iran, Palestine, Malaysia, India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, France, Argentina, Iraq, Chile, the Emirates, Lebanon, Britain, Canada and Tunisia.
The head of the Coordinating Council for Islamic Media in Tehran Province, Mohsen Mahmoudi, announced that the International Al-Quds Day marches will not take place due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, praising at the same time the positions of the martyr, Qassem Soleimani on Palestine and the liberation of Holy Al-Quds (Jerusalem).
