Mshaweh, Moreno discuss ways of cultural cooperation between Syria and Venezuela

The Minister of Culture Lubana Mashouh discussed with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for Asia and the Middle East, Tatiana Moreno, and the accompanying delegation, ways to strengthen cultural relations and expand their horizons to upgrade them to the level of political relations between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the possibility of opening a Venezuelan cultural center in Syria, and set an executive program for joint cultural cooperation between them.

Minister Mshaweh affirmed that reactivating the air line between Caracas and Damascus helps rapprochement, increases communication between the two countries, facilitates cultural exchange and opens the doors towards a new stage of cooperation.

For her part, Moreno stressed the importance of the role of culture in the rapprochement of the two friendly peoples who have common values and principles, in addition to a large community that helps in promoting cultural exchange.

It is noteworthy that Moreno’s visit to Syria comes on the occasion of the re-operation of the Venezuelan airline between Caracas and Damascus.
