Mother Lahham: Foreign Conspiracy to Fragment Syria Won’t Succeed

BEIRUT- The foreign conspiracy to fragment Syria won’t succeed, stressed Mother Fadia al-Lahham.

Mother al-Lahham, who was recently the guest of “Momken” Association in Beirut, said that Syria is for all the Syrians, stressing the importance of national reconciliation steps being taken by Syrian concerned parties.

She added that aiming to ease the tragic conditions of the displaced families inside Syria, because of the terrorist groups’ crimes “we managed to provide assistance to the displaced people and to martyrs’ families.”

She hailed successful reconciliation efforts in several Syrian areas which resulted in getting civilians out of al-Moaddameyyeh area in Damascus, pointing out that more efforts are being exerted to attain more achievements in this respect in other areas.

Mother Lahham announced that she will implement a number of projects, urging charity-loving people to help implementing them for the service of displaced Syrian families.

Mother Lahham had led the catholic Information Center which visited Syria and saw the reality of events and the criminal acts of the armed groups.

She had affirmed that “Syria is being exposed to a scheme aiming to promote a barbaric culture in the 21st Century.”

“Killing, beheading and kidnapping are daily incidents in the areas under gunmen control,” She has stressed, condemning the deadly silence of the international community and the international media over the massacres committed by the terrorists and over the great distortion of what actually happens in Syria.
