Motex Khan Al-Harir Exhibition kicks off with the participation of 400 local companies

Damascus – Prime Minister Hussein Arnous on Thursday launched the activities of the “Motex Khan Al-Harir” Exhibition Spring-Winter 2024, the Syrian specialized export exhibition in the world of fashion, fabrics and production supplies.

More than 400 national companies are taking part in this event.

The exhibition, which is being held by the Chambers of Industry of Damascus and Damascus countryside, Aleppo Chamber of Industry, Damascus Chamber of Commerce, Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, and the Syrian Clothing and Textile Exporters Association, will continue until January14th.

It presents the products of the textile industry sector and its supplies, including children, women and men wears, lingerie, fashion, shoes, leather, accessories, fabrics, threads, and other production requirements, in addition to banking and shipping companies.

In a statement to reporters, Arnous said that this exhibition is the first to be held in cooperation with three parties: the Federation of Chambers of Industry, the Federation of the Chambers of Commerce, and the Regional Office for Arab Exporters and Importers.

Arnous explained that the number of visitors reached more than 1,400 businessmen from several Arab and friendly countries and from all parties wishing to deal with the Syrian products.

The exhibition shows that there is an advanced Syrian industry operating in an integrated sector with various models that meet all tastes, Arnous said. He pointed out that the national industry, thanks to the skilled hands and accumulated experience, is able to enter major markets.

Concluding his statement, Arnous said “our message to the world is that no matter how severe the siege on Syria becomes, industrialists will continue to produce as they did in the most difficult circumstances during the unjust war on our country”.
