Moscow Urges Mobilizing International Efforts to Help Displaced Syrians Return Home

BEIRUT, (ST)- The Russian Embassy in Beirut has announced that Moscow is sparing no effort  as to help the displaced Syrians return to their homeland.

In a statement, the Russian embassy said, as quoted by Sputnik News agency, that the Russian diplomatic missions and facilities “are working actively to mobilize international efforts as to facilitate the return of the displaced Syrians.”

It hailed the procedures adopted by the Syrian government in this regard.

Last August, the Syrian Cabinet agreed on establishing a commission to coordinate the return of the displaced Syrians abroad who were forced by terrorism to leave their villages. The commission aims to intensify contacts with friendly countries to facilitate procedures aiming to help the displaced Syrians return home and continue their normal life in their homeland.

President Vladimir Putin of Russia affirmed that the international community should contribute to the return of Syrian refugees to their original residence places in their homeland.
