Moscow: The IAEA’s decision on the nuclear sites in Ukraine is unprofessional
Moscow (ST): Russia’s permanent mission in Vienna described the IAEA’s decision on Russia’s actions at nuclear sites in Ukraine as unprofessional.
The mission said on “Twitter”: “At the meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors yesterday, an unprofessional draft resolution was adopted, which exceeds the authority of the Agency, and includes real professional errors regarding nuclear safety, nuclear security, and safeguards in Ukraine,” adding: The countries that were most of the world’s population refused to support the decision.
The mission indicated that Russia and China voted against the project, while Vietnam, India, Kenya, Namibia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and South Africa abstained.
