Moscow, Prague Condemn Terrorist Blasts in Jabla, Tartous

CAPITALS, (ST)-The Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday condemned the terrorist bombings which targeted the Syrian cities of Jableh and Tartous today morning, stressing that they aimed at undermining the cessation of hostilities agreement and at hindering efforts to reach political settlement in Syria .

Tens of people were martyred and many were wounded in seven terrorist blasts that hit the two cities.

The terrorist organization called “Ahrar al-Sham” claimed responsibility for the horrible crime.

  “We express our deep condolences to the family and relatives of those who died, and to the entire Syrian people, and wish for a quick recovery to those wounded. Yet another bloody act by terrorists on Syrian soil calls for decisive condemnation. It was done with the open goal of obstructing the cessation of hostilities supported in Syria since February 27 and also with the goal of stonewalling the political settlement to the Syrian crisis,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, according to Sputnik.

The bloody bombings form a flagrant challenge to the international community which have expressed its collective stance in support for political settlement in Syria in parallel with terrorism fighting in accordance with international Security Council resolutions and the statements of the International Syria Support Group, the ministry stressed.    

In Prague, The Czech Foreign Ministry also condemned the terrorist attacks which claimed the lives of tens of innocent people in the cities of Jableh and tartous.

 “The Foreign Ministry of the Czech republic strongly condemns the terrorist blasts which rocked the cities of Jableh and Tartous and expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims,”  a ministry’s statement posted on twitter said.

In Beirut, Hizbollah said the massacres and terrorist attacks committed by the takfiri terrorist organizations in Syria with huge support from international intelligence bodies and under a cover provided by well known Arab countries are the product of black Takfiri thinking that aims at disseminating chaos and horror in the Arab and Islamic countries to serve certain political agendas.

Hizbolla urged all countries to adopt a decisive clear stance against the regional and international powers which are still inciting and supporting terrorism.
