Moscow: It is necessary to discuss the fate of American weapons in Afghanistan

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed the need to discuss the fate of the weapons left by US forces in Afghanistan, expressing Moscow’s concern over the use of these weapons in any possible war in the country.

“We have to think about the future fate of these weapons, and I hope that they will be stored and not used in a future civil war, ” the Russian President’s envoy to Afghanistan, director of the second Asian department of the Foreign Ministry, Zamir Kabulov said to Russia 24.

The Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, announced yesterday that the United States of America had left behind many advanced weapons in Afghanistan.
