Moscow, Damascus discuss outcome of Russian military operation in Syria

Moscow – Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the army and armed forces, Defense Minister Fahd Jasem al-Freij discussed on Thursday with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu the outcome of the Russian military operation against terrorist organizations in Syria, SANA reported.

“The two ministers held talks on the Russian-Syrian military and technical cooperation, exchanging viewpoints on security issues in the Middle East,” Press office of the Russian Defense Ministry said.

It added “the meeting was held within cordial atmosphere and it affirmed the will of both sides to continue coordination between the two defense ministries.”
