Moscow (ST): The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova affirmed that foreign ministers of the guarantor states of the Astana Process (Russia, Iran and Turkey) would hold talks about the situation in Syria on April 22 through video-conference technology.
Earlier, Russian diplomatic sources said that the foreign ministers of the Astana guarantor states would hold talks later this week.
The Astana process started in the Kazakh capital in 2017 and included 13 meetings, one of them was held in the Russian city of Sochi . All the meetings affirmed commitment in preserving Syria’s unity, independence and territorial integrity and the continuity of war against terrorism until its complete defeat.
