Mortars on Damascus and suburb kill 5

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorists have fired mortar rounds on Jaramana city outside Damascus and on Kashkol quarter in Damascus, killing at least five civilians, the official news agency (SANA) reported Tuesday.

The agency clarified that four mortar rounds- fired by terrorists- hit al-Hemsi quarter in Jaramana city in Damascus countryside, killing almost three civilians and wounding at least seven others.

A five-year-old girl was among the civilians martyred by the mortar fire that caused damages to several cars and houses at the scene.

Two more civilians were martyred and fifteen others wounded as four shells landed in Kashkol quarter in the capital [Damascus].

The same province [Damascus] witnessed other mortar attacks on quarters of al-Abbaseyen and al-Hamedeyeh where many houses and cars were damaged without casualties.
