Mortar fire wounds 16 civilians in Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Some six shells, fired by foreign-backed terrorists- have struck several areas in the capital [Damascus], wounding at least 16 civilians, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The 16 civilians were wounded when a shell landed on a building near Souq al-Hal [vegetable market] in al-Zablatani area.

While the other 5 shells left material damages at Bestan al-Dor quarter, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the French Hospital without casualties.
