Mortar fire on Daraa-Sweida administrative border kills 6 civilians, wounds 19

PROVINCES,(ST)_Mortar rounds fired by terrorists on two towns on Daraa-Sweida administrative border have killed at least 6 civilians and wounded 19 others , according to a police command source.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that terrorists fired several mortar rounds on towns of Dama and Eriqa on Daraa-Sweida administrative border, killing almost 6 civilians and wounding 19 others.

The civilians wounded by the mortar fire were admitted to National Hospital in Sweida.

Two days ago, almost 5 civilians were wounded when terrorists opened fire on a bus in Dama town.

Some 6 mortar rounds hit Jaramana city

Fourteen other civilians were wounded yesterday as mortar rounds hit Jaramana city in Damascus countryside.

“Some 6 mortar rounds landed in quarters of al-Janayen, al-Rawda and al-Kheder Street in Jaramana city where at least 14 civilians were wounded and several houses, shops and cars were damaged,” a source at police command said.
