Mortar fire on Aleppo city kills woman, wounds 11

ALEPPO,(ST)_Terrorists have fired several mortar rounds on al-Ashrafeyeh quarter in Aleppo city, killing a woman and wounding 11 civilians, a police command source said Wednesday.

The source added that the wounded civilians were admitted to the ‘al-Razi’ and the ‘University’ Hospitals.

a-Ashrafeyeh quarter is located near the contested Bani Zied quarter where Takfiri terrorists, mostly affiliated to the so-called the ‘Shohada’a al-Bar’ brigade’, spread.

Last May, at least 13 civilians were martyred and 17 others wounded by terror attack on the same quarter.

Moreover, terrorists launched today two missiles on buildings in the heart of Aleppo, causing material damages. No one was reportedly hurt.

On December 6, a missile fell near a public park  in al-Azezeyeh quarter in the same city [Aleppo], killing a civilian and wounding several others.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
