More towns in Daraa and Aleppo under the army’s control

Provinces – The army added another victory to a series of achievements made over the past few weeks, establishing on Friday control over Atman town in the southern Daraa province and other areas in Aleppo, SANA reported.

Daraa

Army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, restored security and stability to Atman town, 4 km north of Daraa city in the southern Daraa province.

 

All the remaining hideouts of the terrorist organizations in the town were eliminated, with many terrorists getting killed, while the rest fled.

It noted that the army’s engineering units have started combing the town to dismantle explosive devices left behind by the terrorists.

Aleppo

In the same context, the army units, in cooperation with the popular defense group, restored security and stability to Rityan and Mair towns in the northern countryside of Aleppo province.

Hama

The Syrian Air Force launched sorties against the terrorists’ dens in the countryside of Hama and Idleb.

70 terrorists were killed and a number of vehicles and an ammunition depot were destroyed in army sorties against positions for Jaish al-Fateh terrorists in the northern countryside of Hama province.

Dens and gatherings of “Jabhat al-Nusra”, “Islamic Union of Ahrara al-Sham” and “Jaish al-Nassr” were destroyed during the sorties in al-Tamaniaa, al-Latamina, Marit Harma, al-Tah, al-Habit, Skik and Kafr Zita in the northern countryside of Hama.

Idleb

In Idleb countryside, the death of at least 6 terrorists and the destruction of a hideout belonging to the so called “Jund al-Aqsa” in Saraqib city to the southeast of Idleb city.

Deir Ezzor

Army units repelled an infiltration attempt by terrorists towards Deir Ezzor Airport, destroying two armored vehicles and killing many terrorists including Mansour al-Turki who is an ISIS leader.
