Homs (ST): Dr. Bassam Al-Mansour, Director General of Hassia Industrial City, revealed that more than two billion pounds have been spent on vital infrastructure projects in the city since the beginning of this year, with the aim of providing the best services to investors.
Al-Mansour said in a statement: “The implementation of infrastructure projects continues in parallel with the increase in the number of investors and the expansion of various industrial sectors in the city, pointing out that the most important projects that are being implemented are an integrated infrastructure project for the development of the chemical zone, which includes sanitary and industrial wastewater, a road and water network, at a cost of more than 750 million Syrian pounds, at a rate of completion of 102 percent to date, and the service road project for the treatment plant in Hassia, with a completion rate of 94 percent.
Al-Mansour explained that about 423 million pounds were spent on the project to complete the roads and sanitation in the Al-Stripeya food area, and the rate of its implementation reached 85 percent, while the implementation rate of the project of a residential building consisting of six floors on the structure in Hassia Industrial City reached 30 percent, indicating the expenditure of about 12 million Pounds on maintenance of public lighting, with an implementation rate of 47 percent.
