More than one million and 100 thousand people from Donbas and Ukraine arrive in Russia

Moscow (ST): A Russian source announced today the arrival of more than 1,100 thousand people to Russia from the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and from Ukraine.

The source was quoted as saying by TASS news agency: “In total, more than 1.1 million people, including about 200,000 children, arrived in Russia from the republics of Donetsk, Lugansk and Ukraine through checkpoints in the Rostov, Bryansk, Belgorod and Crimean regions”.

The source pointed out that more than 12,000 people crossed the Russian borders from those areas in one day.
