More than a thousand settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Today, more than a thousand settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque under strict protection from the Israeli occupation forces that were deployed extensively in its courtyards, and that imposed severe restrictions on the entry and movement of Palestinians into the mosque.

Palestinian media reported that more than 1,700 settlers, including the two ministers in the occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir and Yitzhak Verslov, and Knesset members, stormed the mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem, and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.

In conjunction with the settlers’ storming, the occupation forces stormed the Dome of the Rock and strengthened their presence at its entrances, and seized its keys after assaulting its guards.

They also arrested a Palestinian near Bab al-Silseleh, and prevented the Palestinians present at the gates of Al-Aqsa from entering it, in addition to assaulting the Palestinians present in it to force them to leave it.

Last night, thousands of settlers stormed Al-Buraq Square, adjacent to the Western Wall of Al-Aqsa, and carried out provocative tours of the alleys of Old Jerusalem, while hundreds of them gathered in front of the Mughrabi Gate before storming Al-Aqsa.

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the settlers’ storming of the mosque, indicating that the participation of Ben Gvir and a number of occupation officials in it confirms the seriousness of the attempts to impose forced changes on its existing historical.

For its part, the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs said: Ben Gvir’s storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque for the third time is a provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world, and it is rejected and condemned.

In turn, the Palestinian resistance factions called on the Palestinian people to travel to Al-Aqsa and to confront the widespread Israeli aggression that they are exposed to, which forms an essential part of the continuous Zionist attack against the city of Jerusalem and the sanctities to perpetuate its Judaization.

The Palestinian resistance factions stressed that the attack on any inch of the land will only be faced with continuous resistance that will fail all Judaization plans of the occupation.
