More than 80,000 deaths of Covid 19 in Latin America and the Caribbean

The death toll from the new Corona virus in Latin America and the Caribbean exceeded 80,000, half of which was in Brazil, according to AFP.

In total, 80,505 people died in Latin America and the Caribbean, with 19 Coved, including 43,959 in Brazil, the second most recorded country of the epidemic after the United States. The death toll of Covid 19 in Latin America and the Caribbean also increased to 1,681,378.

As for Mexico, which has a population of 120 million people, and the second largest Latin American country to record the deaths caused by Covid 19, 146937 cases were recorded, including 17,141 deaths.

For its part, Peru recorded 229736 confirmed cases of the virus in the second country in the Latin continent after Brazil in terms of the number of infected people, while the number of deaths in this country amounted to 6688 deaths.
