More than 256,000 students begin their high school and vocational exams in 2,332 exam centers

Damascus (ST): The general secondary certificate exams in its two branches (scientific and literary) and the vocational high school exams in its industrial, commercial and women arts branches began the first session of the year 2022-2023, with 256,924 male and female students directed to submit their exams in 2332 examination centers in all governorates.

The Director of Examinations at the Ministry of Education pointed out, in a statement to news reporter, that the number of applicants for the general secondary certificate exams in its scientific and literary branches reached 229,509 students, distributed over 1986 centers, in addition to 27,415 students in the vocational high school, distributed over 346 examination centers, including 16,698 students in the industrial secondary school, and 7303 students in the commercial high school and 3414 students in the women’s secondary school.

It is noteworthy that the general secondary exams in the scientific and vocational branches continue until the 26th of this June, and for the literary branch until the 24th of the same month
