More than 20 demonstrators from the occupied Syrian Golan injured when the Israeli occupation fired rubber bullets and tear gas bombs to disperse their demonstration

More than 20 people from the occupied Syrian Golan were injured when the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber bullets and tear gas bombs on them to disperse their demonstration against the Israeli wind turbine project on their agricultural lands, according to SANA reporter in Al-Quneitra.

Several other people were detained in the Israeli attacks which continue to this moment, the reporter added, pointing out that there is a state of public anger in the villages of Majdal Shams, Baqatha, Masada and Ein Qinya in the occupied Syrian Golan due to the expansion of the Israeli occupation forces’ attacks on the people who have scattered in their lands to prevent the occupation authorities from entering them.

This morning, people in the occupied Syrian Golan announced the beginning of a general strike covering all facilities as well as schools and remote education. They headed to the areas where the occupation seeks to build giant turbines aiming to prevent the Israeli occupation authorities from implementing this expansionist scheme.
