More than 1000 Israeli settlers storm into Al Aqsa Mosque

Today, more than 100 Israeli settlers stormed into Al Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from the occupation forces. 

Palestinian media quoted the Islamic Endowments Department as saying: 1,165 settlers stormed into Al Aqsa from the direction of Al Magharba Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards under the protection of occupation forces which intensified their presence in the courtyards of the mosque and its surrounding. The settlers stormed into the Al-Qibli prayer hall, attacked the worshippers in Al Aqsa, prevented them from entering the prayer hall and forced them to evacuate the courtyard. They also attacked Palestinians in the vicinity of the mosque and detained 3 of them. 

The occupation forces imposed severe restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al Aqsa and on the movement the Palestinians in the Old City of Al Quds (Jerusalem), which the settlers stormed its alleys and carried out provocative tours there and at the gate of Al Aqsa, especially at Bab Al-Silsilah and Al-Qattanin. 

Yesterday, about 900 settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Al Quds (Jerusalem).  

Occupation closes Ibrahimi Mosque in Al Khalil

Today, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Al Khalil (Hebron) in the West Bank to Palestinian worshipers.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces closed all military checkpoints and electronic gates leading to the Ibrahimi mosque to secure the incursion of the settlers, and intensified their presence at all entrances to the Old City and closed some of its markets.

The Director General of the Al Khalil (Hebron) Endowments, Nidal Al Jaabari , indicated that the occupation will close the Mosque until 10 pm tomorrow evening, stressing that this is a blatant violation of the sanctuary of the Mosque and a violation of the right of Muslims to reach their places of worship.

Al Jaabari called on the international community and its relevant institutions and organizations, especially UNESCO to put its decisions into effect due to the seriousness of what is happening in Al Quds (Jerusalem) and Al Aqsa and Al Ibrahimi mosques.
