More than 1000 Gunmen Handed over Their Weapons, Had Their Legal Status Settled in Darra countryside

DARAA, (ST)-More than 1000 wanted people have had their legal status settled in Mahajjeh town in Daraa northwestern countryside within the framework of all-out reconciliation in the area.

According to SANA reporter, more than 1000 gunmen handed over their weapons and settled their legal status. Some 450 of those gunmen have been absent from military service.

 The reporter pointed out that many of the people, who turned themselves in to authorities want to join the ranks of the Syrian Arab army to fight the terrorist organizations in Daraa and its countryside.

By ending armed presence in Mahajjeh, Damascus-Darra Autostrad will be completely safe particularly after the towns of Sanamein Ghabagheb have already joined reconciliation.
