More than 100 Displaced Families Returned to their Liberated Villages in Western Qalamoun

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, (ST)- More than 100 displaced families returned to their towns and villages in western Qalamoun in Damascus Countryside after the Syrian Arab army in cooperation with the Lebanese national resistance has restored security and stability to areas extending along the border line between Syria and Lebanon by the end of last August.

According to SANA reporter, 45 Syrian families plus 64 Lebanese families have returned to al-Tfail town and other villages where Lebanese and Syrian families have lived together in amity for tens of years. Those families were displaced because of terrorist organizations’ attacks.

The returning locals, on their part, thanked the Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance for the sacrifices offered to liberate their towns and restore security and stability there in order to help them return to their areas from where terrorists displaced them three years ago.

Last August, the Syrian army in cooperation with the Lebanese resistance eliminated the last bastion of Daesh terrorist organization in western Qalamoun and inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists.
