More Terrorists Killed in Rural Damascus, Homs, and Daraa

GOVERNORATES,(ST)_ Army forces continued pursuing of the armed terrorist groups in several towns in Damascus  countryside and left  them killed or wounded  and confiscated or destroyed large quantities  of weapons.

In two qualitative operations against terrorist concentrations in al-Zeyabeh town, the armed forces  eliminated several members  of Abu Hassan terrorist group , and  terrorist Ghassab al-Manzouri, nicknamed as al-Zarqawi together with other three terrorists,  while scores of terrorists were killed in a similar operation in Hujeira town, including  Omar al-Lweisi, Burhan Abu Eysha and Ahmad Qarqoush.

In  al-Huseineya town, the armed forces eliminated scores of terrorists and  destroyed a warehouse including large quantities of weapons, used by terrorists in acts of murder and robbery  against  public and private property in the town.

Scores of most dangerous terrorists were exterminated  or wounded in Zamalka of  the eastern Ghouta in rural Damascus , including the leader of the so called the military council in Zamalka  , an official source  said, adding  that two vehicles fitted with heavy machine guns, including weapons and ammunition,  were destroyed.

In Erbeen, four terrorists were killed  in Ghbeir  square, where they carried out acts of murder, looting and robbery.

In the meantime, the competent authorities  seized a warehouse for weapons, ammunition and explosive materials in a basement used by terrorists to store foodstuffs  in  King Faisal Street in Damascus.

The seized weapons were hidden in the fuel tank of the food store  and included 33 locally made rockets , machine guns, pistols , night binoculars and materials for the manufacture of explosive devices.

In Aleppo 40 terrorists were killed  and others wounded  when a car blew off  while it was booby trapped by an armed terrorist group in  Bustan al-Bacha area.

In Daraa countryside, the competent authorities seized machine guns and automatic assault rifles and Israeli-  made Lao rockets and killed several  of al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra front  in al-Mesemieh area in the northern area of Rural Daraa.

Among the killed terrorists were Issa Ibrahim al-Jassem Qasim Mohammad Sherida and  Mohammed Anwar Al-Abdullah.

Scores of other terrorists were killed or wounded  and their weapons confiscated in al-Saad  town in Daraa, including  Munib Abdul Jalil Hariri, Ali al-Shamlouni, Ramez Qattash, Muhammad Jawad and Ahmad al-Abboud.

On the other hand , the competent authorities in Daraa  confiscated 244 thousand Kiptagon tablets hidden inside a car.

In Homs  countryside, two concentrations for terrorists  were destroyed including a  mortar, one Dushka gun and large amounts of ammunitions, which  were used by terrorists in their attacks on citizens and security forces .   Among the killed terrorists  were Munir Harmoush , Wesam Saaour and Zahi Bakkar.

Meantime, the competent authorities  seized a 200 explosive device inside a coach  in the city of Homs, SANA said, adding  that ” each explosive is one Km weight.”
