More Terrorists Eliminated, Their Weapons Confiscated

GOVERNORATERS,(ST)_ Scores of terrorists were killed or wounded on Tuesday and their shelters destroyed in Daraya and Babila in rural Damascus  during  armed forces tracking operations .

Terrorists Nazir, nicknamed Abu Baraa and Fouad as Abu Shadi were killed.

The engineering units defused four explosive devices on the road to the train station in Daraya weighing more  than 20 kg and destroyed a number of earth mounds   mined by terrorists before they were eliminated by the armed forces.

Several leaders of armed terrorists of the so called ” Banner of Islam”  groups in Erbeen and Zamalka were eliminated, in qualitative operations, including Muhammad al-Barhamji, Muhammad Qasem, Ihasan Ghannoum, Omar Delwan and Muhammad Dawaleibi.

Five wounded civilians were admitted to al-Mouasat hospital in Damascus after terrorists detonated a booby-trapped car in al-Golan Street in Jdedit al-Fadel in rural Damascus.

Terrorists also fired two shells at” Children” and al-Mouasat” hospitals in Damascus, and hit the southern wall of Tishreen Palace. Only material losses were inflicted.

The interior security forces, in collaboration with citizens,  dismantled two explosive devices, each weighs 25 kg  implanted by terrorists in the Rukn  Eddine area  near Ber al-Sabeel cemetery.

In rural Homs, the armed forces confiscated two cars packed with weapons and ammunition and killed several  terrorists who were smuggling weapons and committing  acts of kidnapping and looting in Shamsin area.

The confiscated weapons included a number of antitank thermal missiles antitank,  rocket launcher ,  mortar shells  of 120 mm , cannon rounds of  73 mm , rocket-propelled grenades and  PKC machine gun, a military  source said .

One  armed forces unit and the  border guards foiled an attempt  by the terrorist groups to  infiltrate from  Lebanese territory at  Adeline crossing  in rural Telkalakh  and left its members  killed or wounded   while the rest receded into the Lebanese territory.

Other terrorists were eliminated  and their cars fitted with machineguns were destroyed in rural Idleb, while  terrorists Basel al-Sarhan, Isam Saleh al-Abd, Ahmad Najah and Amer al-Theini were killed among many others when  their group attacked a military checkpoint in the dam road in Daraa.

In Aleppo  city and countryside, the armed forces carried out  qualitative operations targeted terrorists centers  in al-Neirab,Tel  Hasel, Assan, al-Meselmieh, Kafer Naha al-Naqqarin, Hanano housing units and al-Maadi  and left scores of them killed or injured.
