More gunmen surrendered to competent authorities

GOVERNORATES,(ST)_ Some 116 persons from Damascus, Damascus countryside, Al-Hasakah, and Deir al-Zour surrendered themselves to the competent authorities to regularize their status.

In Dherg town of rural Homs, 60 gunmen, who were deceived and involved in the recent events surrendered their weapons to the competent authorities and vowed not to return to take up arms or any action that would prejudice the security of the homeland.

The persons whose situations were  settled yesterday expressed their thanks to the concerned authorities over all kinds of support they were given to return again to their families and work and contribute to the rebuilding of Syria.

Settling the situation 29 wanted governed by the amnesty decree in Idleb

The situation of other 29 wanted persons was settled, according to amnesty decree No. 22 of 2014 after they had surrendered and vowed not to undermine the security of the homeland and the citizen.

 Meeting with those who have surrendered in the governorate yesterday, he Governor of Idleb Safwan Abu Saada indicated that the province is proceeding in settling the situation of each of the deceived person in order to enable him start a new phase of the reconstruction of the country.

He pointed out that the Committee in charge of making settlement holds a weekly meeting to resolve the status of the applicants.

8 detainees released in Tartous

Tartous Judge Advocate General Mohammed Suleiman said on Thursday that “ 8 suspended persons  were released under Legislative Decree No. 22 of 2014, provided for a general amnesty for crimes committed before the date of 9,6, 2014.

In a statement to SANA, Suleiman pointed out that some 95 suspended persons were so far released under the amnesty decree, confirming that other files will be studied. for the release of others, accordingly.
