More gunmen and wanted people in Nawa city settle their legal status in implementation of the settlement agreement

Gunmen, wanted people and military service deserters from the city of Nawa and some villages in Daraa northern countryside on Saturday settled their legal status in implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian State to restore security and stability to Daraa province.

This process was made possible in cooperation between the Syrian Arab Army and the concerned authorities.

SANA reporter said that a number of gunmen and wanted people in the city of Nawa and the villages of Al-Nasiriya, Al-Sukkariya, Al-Sheikh Sa’d, Jbeiliya and Odwan in the northern countryside of Daraa, came to the settlement center established at the Rural Development Center in Nawa, to handover their weapons to the Syrian Army and settle their legal status in preparation for returning to normal life.

 Last month, Draaa province witnessed the surrender of hundreds of gunmen and wanted people within the framework of a state’s settlement agreement. The army units were deployed in several areas with the aim of guaranteeing security and stability.
