More gatherings and supply routes for terrorists destroyed

Provinces – The army’s air force launched airstrikes against gatherings of ISIS terrorists and movements of their vehicles in the eastern countryside of Palmyra City and in the vicinity of al-Shaer oil field to the northwest of the city in Homs province, SANA reported.

A military source confirmed that a number of vehicles were destroyed in the airstrikes, some of which were equipped with heavy machineguns.

Meanwhile, an army unit clashed with terrorist groups affiliated to ISISI which were attacking Hayan gas field, south of Sha’er oil field in the eastern countryside of Homs province, field source said on Tuesday.

 The clashes ended up with inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in personnel and weaponry and destroying a vehicle loaded with big amounts of explosives in the vicinity of Hayan field.

Another army unit foiled an attack by ISISI terrorists on a number of the military posts in Um al-Tababeer area in the eastern countryside of Homs province, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying a bombed vehicle before reaching to its goal.

Idleb, Hama

An army unit targeted the gatherings and movements of the terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization near Geela and Adwan villages in al-Rouj plain in the western countryside of Idleb province, field sources said on Tuesday.

A number of terrorists were killed and injured and their supply routes with arms and ammunition were destroyed.

Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed in special operation oil- loaded tanker trucks bound for Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations on the road linking Taladeh and Tarmaneen villages, 45 km north of Idleb.

In the northwestern countryside of Hama province, an army unit killed 3 terrorists while they were trying to put sand barriers and rocks in a site called Tal al-Qabu on the outskirts of Shahshabu Mountain in al-Ghab plain.
