IDLEB,(ST)_ In cooperation between the Syrian Red Crescent branch and the United Nations offices operating in Syria, an aid convoy of 12 trucks containing food and health items and furniture arrived in Bennech, and al-Foua cities and Kferya town in rural Idelb yesterday.
Idleb ‘s governorate executive office deputy chairman Ali al-Jasem said that this convey comes within the government’s contribution to secure the delivery of aid to people in rural Idleb and the responsibility borne towards every citizen , noting that humanitarian aid provided by the government in 2013 was estimated at 97 billion Syrian pounds .
For his part, Director of the Red Crescent branch in Idleb Mahmoud Santley indicated that aid convoys will continue to arrive into other areas , adding that this convoy is the sixth this year, and that there is cooperation and coordination between the Syrian Red Crescent and United Nations offices to this end .
