More Displaced Syrians Return Home from Lebanon through Jdeidet Yabous Crossing

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, (ST)- Concerned parties in Syria and Lebanon continue their efforts as to help the displaced Syrians return from Lebanon to their houses in Damascus Countryside across the Jdeidet Yabous border crossing. The displaced people had been forced to leave their homeland to Lebanon fleeing the criminal acts of the terrorist organizations.

SANA reporter to the border crossing said that after completing preparations to restore normal life to the areas liberated by the Syrian Arab army from terrorism, a new batch of displaced Syrians arrived today in their villages in Damascus countryside.

According to the reporter, a medical point was set up in the border crossing area to provide health services to the returnees. Food, water and juice were also provided to the returnees before transferring them by buses to their houses, according to the reporter.

The returnees thanked the Syrian army for restoring peace and security to their areas, stressing that they were looking forward to witnessing this moment.

Hundreds of displaced Syrian families have returned from Lebanon across Jdeidet Yabous and al-Zamrani crossings to their  houses in Qalamoun, Zabadani and Beit Jinn areas in Damascus Countryside after rehabilitating the infrastructure which was damaged by the terrorists.
