More Displaced Syrians Return from Jordan

DARAA –More displaced Syrians have come back home from camps in Jordan, as part of the efforts made by the Syrian state to ensure the return of all people who have been displaced due to terrorism, SANA reported.

A new group of Syrians were reported by SANA correspondent at Nassib-Jaber border crossing to have returned from Jordan on Wednesday.

The returnees are to be transported to their home towns and villages that were liberated from terrorism by the Syrian Arab army.

SANA reporter said Daraa Governorate has sent a number of vehicles to transport the returnees and has provided food and necessary medicine to them.

In a statement to the reporter, Head of the Immigration and Passports Center at Nassib crossing Col. Mazen Ghandour said the concerned authorities also sent trucks to transport the returnees’ belongings.

He noted that the number of displaced Syrians who have returned via the border crossing since its opening last October has reached 13780.
