More Displaced Syrian Families Return from Rukban Camp

HOMS, (ST)- More Syrian citizens, who were displaced because of terrorism, have returned from Rukban Camp in al-Tanf area through Jleigem corridor in Homs eastern countryside after being trapped  for years by the US occupation forces and their terrorist mercenaries positioned in al-Tanf.

The process comes within the framework of the Syrian state’s efforts to help the displaced Syrians return to their towns and villages which were liberated from terrorists by the Syrian Arab army.

According to SANA reporter, many families, most of their members are women, children and elderly, who have been staying in al-Rukban Camp in al-Tanf area near the Syrian-Jordanian borders under very difficult humanitarian circumstances, arrived at Jleigem corridor where a medical point and teams of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) provided them with food and necessary health care as most of them were tired and they look ill because of the siege imposed on them by the US forces and the terrorists.

Following legal procedures, the displaced Syrians were taken by buses to makeshift centers which were equipped well to receive them until they are moved to their place of residence, SANA reporter said.

On April 16th, tens of displaced families left Rukban camp and arrived at Jleigem corridor to be taken to makeshift centers in preparation to be moved in a later stage to their areas of permanent residence.

Thousands of displaced Syrians, who were forced to leave their country because of terrorism, are suffering very difficult humanitarian conditions in Rukban camp. They lack health care, food and even water because of the siege impose on them by the US occupation forces and their affiliated terrorists who have been blackmailing the citizens and stealing the humanitarian aid delivered to them for more than four years.
