More casualties and huge destruction on the second day of the Turkish regime army’s attack on the northeast of Syria

HASAKA, RAQQA,(ST)_For the second day running, the Turkish regime army continues its attack on several towns in Hasaka and Raqqa, killing and injuring many civilians and causing damages to infrastructures, vital facilities and homes.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the Turkish army’s jets and artillery struck this morning towns and villages of Raes Al-Ayin and Qamishli in Hasaka countryside and in Ein Issa area in the northern countryside of Raqqa.

At least 5 civilians were martyred and 9 others wounded in the attack.

There was also Turkish attack on Sa’ed oil station at Turkish border where the station was completely burned down.

The Turkish regime army, in addition, fired rocket on Ein Issa town in the northern countryside of Raqqa, causing material damage to homes and properties.

On the other hand, SANA denied the Turkish Defense Ministry’s claims that the Turkish army captured sites and posts inside Raes Al-Ayin city. It also confirmed that reports about targeting Qamishli International Airport are false.

Earlier today, it was said that 3 civilians were martyred and dozens wounded when the Turkish regime army targeted cars on Raqqa- Tal Abyad road.
