ALEPPO,(ST)_ Status of 83 persons who were involved in recent events , but did not take part in Syrian bloodshed were released after pledging not to return to carry out acts of sabotage and undermining Syria ‘s security in the future.
Many of those persons, whose situations were settled said that their release marks a new beginning for them to practice a normal life , contribute to nation-building and development, and defending it against schemes aim at destabilizing its security and stability.
Aleppo governor Muhammad Aqqad underlined the significance of enabling repentant citizens to return to the right path, pointing out that every misled citizen who carried weapon but did not take part in killing acts will be rehabilitated to be integrated back into society, so as to take his due role in building the homeland.
Aleppo’s police chief, Brigadier Ibrahim Al-Salem stressed readiness of all police departments to help repentant citizens to return to their families and society by all possible means.
