Mop-up operations against terrorists continue nationwide

Provinces, (ST) –Units of the armed forces on Wednesday carried out military operations against terrorists’ groupings , killing scores of them  and injuring many others in several areas across Syria.

In Hama,a military source said that an army unit killed all members of an armed terrorist group in al-Sarmaniyeh  village .Terrorists from Iraq and Egypt were among the dead.

Units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and groupings  in Ein al-Bayda farms to the south of Qara , Deir Atayieh , Manshyat Khan al-Sheeh, al-Nabik city , al-Nashabiyeh , al-Bahariyeh , al-Qasimiyeh ,Deir al-Asafir, Zamalka, Harasta, Joubar ,Babyla, al-Fusoul al-Arbaa area in Darayaa , al-Qaboun , Barzeh  in Damascus and its countryside, killing and injuring many of them, including non-Syrian terrorists.

In Aleppo, armed terrorist groups were eliminated in intensive operations against their dens in the villages of Binan, Khan al-Asal, Maskana, Hayyan, Ma’aret al-Artiq, Handarat, Babees, al-Sheikh Saeed and al-Wdeihi in the countryside of Aleppo, according to a military source.

The source added that army units eliminated terrorists’ gatherings in the surrounding area of al-Kindi Hospital, the surrounding area of the Central Prison and the neighborhoods of Bustan al-Qaser and Sukkari, Azzan, Kafar Dael, Aroum, Kastello, Abtin, the industrial area and al-Mislmiyeh.

Meanwhile, army units successfully managed to foilterrorists’ infiltration attempts into the safe areas in al-Ameriyeh and some neighborhoods in Salah-Eddin in the city, killing many terrorists and injuring others.

In Homs, a unit of the armed forces killed  and injured members of armed terrorist groups to the southeast of al-Zawiyeh Mosque in Bab Hud neighborhood and in al-Karabis neighborhood in the city of Homs.

Another army unit clashed with terrorists who tried to attack the citizens in Kafer Laha village , killing most of them.

The source said that a unit of the armed forces inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Sheikh Ibrahim al-Hakim and Khalij Kisin areas who were smuggling ammunition from al-Rastan to al-Hula.

In Daraa, an army unit targeted a terrorists’ hideout in al-Arbaeen neighborhood, to the south of Jordan Street and to the southeast of al-Jamarek in Daraa city, killing many terrorists and injuring the others, according to a military source.
