Monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” launched in Tartous

With the participation of 70 national companies from various Syrian governorates, the monthly family shopping festival “Made in Syria” was launched in Al Basel Sport Hall in Tartous, with the aim of providing all the needs of the family of foodstuff, detergents, leather other industrial products, at a discount of about 20 percent.

The festival, which was inaugurated by the Minister of Internal Trade and Customer Protection Mohsen Ali Abdulkarim, is held in cooperation between the Chamber of industry of Damascus and its countryside, the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Damascus Countryside Chamber of Commerce.

The head of the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Industry and the head of the Chamber of industry of Damascus and its countryside Ghazwan Al Masri said in a statement to reporters: The importance of the festival, in its 145th sessions is important as it presents the national product to the consumer directly, in a way that contributes to lowering prices.

In turn, a member of the Board of Directors of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce Musan Nahas indicated in a statement that the exhibitions and festivals provide offers to families by displaying goods at a lower price lower than that in the market.

The head of the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Trade Mazen Hamad noted the importance of the joint cooperation between the Chamber and the federation of the Syrian Chambers of Industry, which serves the industrial and commercial sectors.

A number of participants in the festival emphasized the importance of the festival which is held in various Syrian governorates to present a wide variety of commodities and basic materials.
