“Moderate Terrorism”!
From the beginning of the crisis in Syria, the US and its allies intended not to name things with their real names. They invented the name of “moderate opposition” to justify the acts of killing and heinous massacres perpetrated against Syrian people nationwide by mercenaries and criminals who were exported to Syria from more than 83 states. Not to name terrorism in its real name sends wrong signs to the terrorist groups that their terrorism is justified as long as it destroys the country’s infrastructure and institutions and depletes its material and human resources.
The US was unprepared to separate terrorist organizations from the moderate opposition in Syria. The Syrian government has embarked on the separation of terrorists from the national opposition and the civilians.. But Washington was not ready to do that because of political reasons, and did not intend to do it to elongate the crisis.
After each successful round of closed negotiations and after reaching certain agreements between Russia and the US concerning the solution of the crisis in Syria, Washington begins putting forward additional requirements that violate the entire balance and prevent progress immediately. Washington has been completely inconsistent in its actions in Syria, putting forward demands to stop fighting terrorists as soon as the Syrian army has achieved real success in the fight against terrorists. As soon as the Syrian government and the armed forces have achieved, with Russian support, a real progress in the fight against terrorists, the Americans began to use unacceptable methods, demanding, in essence, the cessation of the fight against terrorists.
The Western media has to be courageous and to break the silence regarding the crimes of the so-called “moderate opposition” in Syria and the human casualties due to the strikes carried out by the alleged US-led “international alliance” against the ISIS terrorists. The US-backed Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement have faced many charges on committing massacres against the civilians including women and children in the neighborhoods of Aleppo. Last month terrorists from Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, who are backed by Erdogan regime, slaughtered a 12-year-old Palestinian child named Abdullah Issa in Handarat Camp in the northern countryside of Aleppo and they mutilated his body. The so-called US-led “international alliance” is carrying out airstrikes against inhabited areas inside Manbij City in Aleppo countryside and it has carried out more than 100 strikes against the neighborhoods of the city since July 19th, killing hundreds of the civilians and injuring thousands.The terrorist organization of “Jaish Al-Islam” launches rocket shells against civilians in Damascus and Aleppo daily, while “Ahrar Al-Sham” perpetrates terrorist suicide blasts such as the two bombings which hit recently the two cities of Jableh and Tartous that left hundreds of casualties. There are states that rejected a Syrian request to add what is called “Jaish Mohamad” to terrorists’ list, and name such terrorist organizations “the Syrian moderate armed opposition” and call them to take part in Geneva talks as if there is “moderate and extremist terrorism”.
The West, on top Washington, exert all possible efforts to hide those facts. The Western mass media should be courageous enough to write about the crimes of the “moderates” and the resources of their finance.
It is not possible to end the suffering of the Syrians through political blackmail, but through combating terrorism. Governments of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey must stop the support offered to the terrorist groups which perpetrate massacres against the Syrian people.
There should be a strong international will for combating takfiri mentality and enhancing dialogue among all Syrians to unite ranks in order to confront the conspiracy and the six-year war.
The divisional mentality used by western powers to fragment countries into small states in order to dominate their resources and capabilities should be foiled. Syria is paying the price for its national and principled stances. Syrians will always be adherent to their homeland, army and leadership to achieve victory and foil the conspiracy.” Why those who perpetrate terrorist acts in Brussels, Paris, Nice, Munich, Bangladesh and other cities are not called moderate armed opposition and when it comes to Syria they are called moderate?
