Mizintsev: Ukrainian extremists are holding thousands of foreign hostages

Moscow (ST): The head of the Russian National Center for Defense Management, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Mizintsev, announced that the Ukrainian ultra-nationalists are still holding thousands of foreign citizens for use as human shields.

 

TASS news agency quoted Mizintsev as saying yesterday evening that Ukrainian nationalists continue to hold 6,224 foreign citizens from nine different countries as hostages for use as human shields”.

Mizintsev confirmed that the Kiev authorities are forming three new battalions of nationalist prisoners, convicted of very serious crimes, with the main task of besieging Kharkiv from the south and preventing civilians from leaving the city.
