Missile bombing targets the US embassy in the Iraqi capital

Baghdad, (ST) – A missile attack targeted the third Al-Tawhid base inside the US embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Tuesday. The news was reported that, the embassy’s defenses had shot down a drone.

Alsumaria News quoted a security source as saying in a statement that, “a drone targeted the Al-Tawhid base at the American embassy in Baghdad.” It said that, the American occupation forces immediately closed the military wing inside the embassy.

The source added that sirens were activated inside the embassy and the “CRM” system was activated, without giving further details.

Iraqi sources affirmed that warning sirens were heard inside the Al-Tawhid base at the US embassy in the Green Zone.
